Just link/info dumping atm...

If we're going for vistas, definitely better to do so from an open sky area, with views of the interesting stuff i.e. Tokyo Tower (rather than from the Tower itself)
- Other locations: WTC Building (watch out for planes!), Tokyo Metrop. Govt. Building.

Asakusa Sensoji temple > nearby is 'Maguro Bito' (conveyer belt sushi, voted best via TV poll).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Japan - Good news is that we don't need a visa, unless someone stays behind for 90+ days.

...and that's enough for now.

XXXXX-an Trip '09 mk2

Yeah, I knew you douchebagz would do it...

The Japonito trip fell through and we lost Kev-lah, in a figurative sense.

Okay so this i now reborn as 'Malaysian Trippy '09' with just as much random nights out talking to bewildered locals except still south of the equator and definitely frickin' hot/sticky.

And... I've got both Japanese contact, Agent #(Classified) K. Yurugi, who will assist us with our transition to Pan-Asian diplomatic relations.

So I'm gonna do my best to bludge my way thru the last of these uni assessments and make it to July alive...

Bad News

as the title says,

it looks like june/july is wet season with very hot days, it will be highly humid and overcast days. mt. fuji will be hardly visible with clouds. so, we need another meeting to decide about the fate of this trip.

Hya douchebagz

...sorry I couldn't think of a more appropriate title.

Thought I should include all the initial details of the trip (20th June - 27th July):

- The higher-end estimate is $7,000 all up, a number we should all aim for (but I'm sure we'll somehow fall short =).

-This includes: About $2,000 for the tickets, INCLUDING return airfares to Tokyo Narita (yes, I know Kleon, but this is an ACTUAL quoted no. Settle down) via Hong Kong and Insurance for about a month.

-Food = $2,000 (I dunno where this no. came from)

-Accomodation = $2,000 (I guess again)

-Expenses and Incidentals ($1,000) I think we should all chip in for one of those robot wives. One with changeable hairstyles.

It is our individual responsibilities to go our separate ways to find the BEST deal. Now go forth, young padawans, and strike at the heart of the SITH LORDS.

That's all my lil brain can think of. Peace and chicken grease
